- The Port handled a total traffic of 9.53 MMT during May 2016, surpassing the previous best of 9.44 MMT during August. 2015.
- The Port crossed 50 MMT mark on 16.9.2016, 14 days earlier than the same cargo handling figure achieved during the last year.
- Single day highest quantity of 5.83 lakh tones (Kandla + Vadinar) was handled on 27.10.2016. Surpassing its previous highest of 5.53 lakh tons (Kandla + Vadinar) on 31.5.2016.
